DESCRIPTION:There is no Sound Waves story without Mr. Nice Guy Band. One of South Florida’s most followed and familiar classic rock bands\, Mr. Nice Guy has been part of the series almost from the beginning—opening seasons\, closing seasons\, and anchoring weekends when the crowd knew exactly where they wanted to be. \nThey’ve appeared seven times across every chapter of Sound Waves—at the Hub\, at The LOOP\, and even during the rare move to the Intracoastal park when circumstances shifted. And every time\, the same thing happened: the audience followed. Because when Mr. Nice Guy is on the bill\, people show up early\, stay late\, and sing every word. \nAt the core of the band are Tom Hall on lead guitar and vocals\, Dave Webster on drums\, and John Quinn on keys—musicians who know this music inside and out and know how to read a crowd without ever forcing the moment. Often joining them is vocalist Maria De Crescenzo\, a familiar presence whose voice has become part of many Mr. Nice Guy nights at Sound Waves. \nWhile Mr. Nice Guy doesn’t perform frequently\, their return moments matter.
