The Greater Fort Lauderdale Food & Wine Festival, presented by Visit Lauderdale, is Broward County’s premier foodie experience. Returning for its 3rd year, the weeklong series of events take place, Monday, January 10 – Sunday, January 16, 2022.
Two of the festival’s anticipated signature events, the Grand Tasting, hosted by the City of Fort Lauderdale Beach Improvement District ( BID ), and free Family Day presented by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, will take place in the heart of Fort Lauderdale Beach at Las Olas Oceanside Park.
The Signature Grand Tasting on Saturday, January 15, features 3-hours of unlimited sips and bites from nearly 40 of the area’s most acclaimed restaurants, including Fort Lauderdale Beach favorites, Burlock Coast, Coconuts, El Vez, Lona Cocina & Tequileria, S3 Restaurant, SoBe Vegan, Steelpan, Steak 954 and Takato.
The event concludes Sunday, January 16 with the Festival’s Family Day. The free, family-friendly event features Cooking Demos, Hands On Culinary Classes and Interactive Kid’s Zone. Kids Can Cook Culinary Classes, offered at $50/each, include: The Art of Cupcake Decorating, Ravioli Making and Candy Sushi Making. The classes are led by Chef Josie Smith Malave from Top Chef and Chef Dario Stephen from Kids Can Cook. For the kid at heart, Live Entertainment, Art, a Curated Selection of Food Trucks and Cocktail Bars fill the space.
