On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM, Las Olas Oceanside Park will transform into a wonderland of light, music, and joy. The evening marks the official launch of the holiday season along Fort Lauderdale Beach, and this year’s celebration promises to be brighter and more magical than ever.
A Dazzling Display of Lights
As the sun sets, more than 50,000 holiday lights will shimmer along our picturesque beachfront, creating a breathtaking spectacle that captures the spirit of the season. The highlight of the evening, the Lighting Ceremony, takes place at 6:30 PM, setting the entire shoreline aglow with holiday brilliance.
And yes, “Olas,” our beloved 20-foot beach snowman, returns to his iconic spot at A1A and Las Olas Boulevard! This larger-than-life landmark has become a Fort Lauderdale favorite, perfect for festive selfies and family photos.
Fun for the Whole Family
From 5:30 to 8:30 PM, the Kids Zone will be buzzing with excitement. Families can enjoy a visit from Santa Claus, bounce through holiday inflatables, zip down slides, and take part in cheerful activities that are sure to bring smiles to kids of all ages.
A Night of Music and Magic
At 7:00 PM, the celebration continues with a live performance by the Fort Lauderdale Symphonic Winds, filling the ocean air with classic holiday melodies and symphonic favorites until 8:30 PM.
