Get your paws ready! The VCA Walk for the Animals is happening on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the beautiful Las Olas Intracoastal Promenade Park. Now in its 35th year, this is the only South Florida dog walk where you can enjoy the beauty of the beach and ocean and walk for a great cause – the Humane Society of Broward County. The one-mile walk will have vendor booths, entertainment, prizes and more! No registration fee required.

Participants who gather donations will receive gifts for different levels reached starting at $150 – which will earn you the official Walk t-shirt. For those who raise $1,000 or more, your dog will be entered in a contest for a chance to be the 2026 Walk Cover Dog. Emcees include Local 10’s Animal Advocate, Jacey Birch, along with Jade Alexander and Martica Lopez from Hits 97.3 and Bobby Mitchell, Mike Kruz and Nikki from Easy 93.1.
