The Primanti Brothers on Fort Lauderdale beach is a branch of the popular Pittsburgh restaurant established in 1933. This location keeps to the traditions of the original—good, cheap food available 24 hours.
The sandwiches are the biggest draw, with meat, coleslaw, optional onions and french fries inside the bread. It might sound strange, but after you try it, you will find yourself sneaking fries into your sandwich everywhere you go (like me). The pizza is also delicious, available by the slice with New York-style thin crust. It’s cash only, but an ATM is inside the restaurant.
