Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center

The Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center is the premier location for competitive/recreational swimming, aquatic training opportunities, practicing and/or learning lifesaving skills, and more. Located right next to the Swimming Hall of Fame, and across from DC Alexander Park, the center has been a staple in South Florida since its opening in 1965. The complex has witnessed ten world records while serving as host to hundreds of national and international meets.

After major renovations in 2022, the Aquatic Center now features state of the art equipment from its pump room to timing console. The Aquatic Center also offers Top of the Tower Tours, where visitors can see the amazing heights and sights from the City of Fort Lauderdale’s 27-Meter Dive Tower, the tallest pre-concrete diving structure on the Western Hemisphere! Take a guided tour up the tower, with City of Fort Lauderdale staff and/or dive coaches, as you learn more about aquatic sports (diving, swimming, etc.) and the Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center. For more information, please call our admissions staff at (954) 828-4588.
