The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade is the “Best Show on H2O” and the traditional kickoff to the South Florida Holiday Season. Bringing together our community and visitors from around the world, this one-of-a-kind parade of beautifully decorated boats of all sizes is a can’t miss extravaganza.
With over a million viewers along the 12 mile parade route and an economic impact to Broward County of over $50 million, the parade where the floats really float is a Fort Lauderdale institution.
The 50th Annual Holiday Parade takes place Saturday, December 11, 2021 starting in the Downtown Area at 6:30 PM with a preshow of non-motorized vessels at 6:00 p.m. The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade will stage on the New River in downtown Fort Lauderdale, along the docks west of Stranahan House to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
The Parade starts at Stranahan House traveling East along the New River in Fort Lauderdale to the Intracoastal Waterway as it continues North to Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach. It’s 12 Miles from the “Best Show on H20.” The Parade takes approximately 2 and 1/2 hours to view from one location (starting locations stagger as you travel north).
Private boats to the giant showboats and corporate mega yachts will be adorned with hundreds of thousands of lights, music, entertainment, decorations, celebrities, musical groups, beauty queens, and many other exciting entries expected to be viewed by over one million spectators.
Winterfest’s PARADE VIEWING AREA sponsored by Baptist Health and the City of Fort Lauderdale Beach Improvement District ( BID) is located at Las Olas Intracoastal Promenade Park. Conveniently located in east Fort Lauderdale. Rideshare is encouraged and there is parking within walking distance from the event area. Guests will enjoy a festival atmosphere with live entertainment before and after the Parade.
The excitement begins at 4 pm when the gates open. Come early and bring the family (no pets please) to enjoy all of the amenities. Enjoy the “Parade Viewing Area” – Stella Artois Culinary Courtyard, Live Entertainment, and activities. The Parade gets underway at 6:30 p.m. along The New River in Downtown Fort Lauderdale and should arrive in this area at approximately 7:00 pm.

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT: Big City Dogs will perform during the day with radio personalities from Y-100 and iHeart Radio. Shane Duncan Band will start their concert following the Parade.
TICKETS for the 50th Annual Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade are $25 for individual adult tickets and $15 for children 10 years & younger
