La Fuga, (Italian for “the escape,”) is nestled in the heart of the Kimpton Shorebreak, named in homage to the location’s historic beginnings. The newly renovated Kimpton Shorebreak occupies a unique space in Fort Lauderdale, originally opened as The Escape Hotel in 1949.
La Fuga pays tribute to its origin story in name and also in atmosphere. Featuring mid-century design, and a laid-back vibe, the indoor-outdoor dining room includes views of the hotel’s scenic courtyard and provides access to a rooftop pool overlooking Fort Lauderdale’s intercoastal.
